Whether you own a single horse or a breeding facility, the

OUTBACK RIDERS HORSE CLUB needs your support. Join other equine enthusiasts from Brown, Oconto and Shawano Counties in their dedication to preserving and improving the horse industry in Northeastern Wisconsin. Membership is the lifeblood of the Outback Riders Horse Club.

The clubs goals and purposes are simple: educational, charitable, athletic,
civic and recreational.

To promote and protect the interest of all Wisconsin horsemen and horsewomen is more than rewarding! Members work hard to create, maintain and promote equine trails, facilities and activities in surrounding counties. By enabling horse enthusiasts of all disciplines and abilities to engage in outdoor equine activities in a beautiful environment and safe from vehicular traffic, we can enhance the quality of life for all.

Outback Riders is currently working to gain relationships with groups that have the same interests and agencies who manage over 5 million acres of land that riders want access to, such as the State Forests and Parks, National Forests, Game Commissions and various county, municipal and private parks; to offer educational programs, training and assistance; not only to promote good relations on shared and single use trails but to promote conservation efforts to preserve mother nature’s dwindling resources.

The Outback Riders Horse Club serves as a voice for our members in the ongoing effort to keep Wisconsin’s trails open. Our members work tirelessly to ensure that equestrians do not lose the right to bridle trail use and enjoyment. Thank you Wisconsin State Horse Council for granting funds toward making the Machickanee Trail System safe: through the use of visible markers and color-coded maps. Annual trail cleaning, club sponsored horse shows and the hard work of a few individuals are the reasons so many equine enthusiasts can ride these trails for FREE.

That’s Right! There is NO FEE to ride the Machickanee Trail System in Oconto County!

All horsemen, horsewomen, adult and youth, breed groups, related industries, farms, clubs, schools, stables and pleasure horse owners are eligible for membership.  By expanding our membership, we can attain even more influence in the public arena.
