Outback Riders Horse Trail System
DIRECTIONS
(Green Bay, WI) Take US Hwy 141 N to Cty Road E (Abrams, WI)
Go West on Cty E for 2.8 miles, North on Brehmer Road for 3 miles, East on Timberline Road.
You’ll see a Horse Trailer Parking Sign immediately on the North side of Timberline.
The parking lot is 1/4 mile East on the South side of Timberline by the restrooms. How convenient!
TERRAIN
Wooded, Mostly Sandy and Flat
The trails lead through a variety of forest types including: red pine plantations, oak ridges,
birch and aspen stands.
FACILITIES
Truck and trailer parking at both parking areas. Pit toilet at East Parking Lot.
Parking is also available on the wide shoulder of the road at the intersections
of Brehmer and W. Stiles Tower Road.
Camping is allowed with a permit. Sorry, No Water. For more Camping information: please contact

BRIDLE PATH
25 miles of clearly marked horse trails. Trail width—10 feet.
The OutBack Riders Trail System is OPEN April 15th until November 15th
COST
There is NO FEE to ride the Machickanee Trail System in Oconto County!

Available at both parking areas and at various locations on the trails.

Outback Riders Horse Club was established to create and maintain a public bridle path in the beautiful Machickanee Forest in cooperation with the Oconto County Land Forest and Parks Committee.
